Blackview A10: A Budget Smartphone
In late October, the Chinese decided to please us with the Blackview A10, which is a budget smartphone with amazing features. If you are in the market for a budget-friendly device, this one will provide you the basics.
The digital “brain” of the new Blackview is a relatively outdated and has a MediaTek MT6580A 32-bit mobile processor. The processor is still popular amongst vendors from China. In principle, for everyday tasks such as access to social networks and Internet surfing, it is more than enough.
The only significant disadvantage of the Blackview A10 is the complete lack of support for 4G LTE networks. It remains to be seen if the creators will pay attention to this shortcoming. For many users, in the Ukraine, this negative feature does not bother them, as the maximum is only 3G.
I’m glad that the management of Blackview did not become stingy in terms of memory. The phones internal memory is 2GB (i.e. the maximum for MT6580A), and external memory is 16GB. This is not well compared to other phones with 32GB memory. There is a microSD card slot to help you with extra memory storage.
The A10 is equipped with a 5-inch screen with a resolution of FullHD 720 × 1280 pixels. At the bottom, it has three classic touch control buttons. Unlike many other devices of the same class, there is also a fingerprint scanner located on the back of the case.
Main Features on the Manufacturer’s Website
The resolution of the main camera is 5.0 Mp, and the front one’s resolution is 2.0 Mp. This might look good 5-6 years ago, but with today’s standards this does not stand up well against other affordable brands.
The battery capacity is 2800 mAh. You can install two SIM-cards and works with Android 7.0 Nougat without additional branded add-ons.
The first displaying of the Blackview A10 took place at the Chinese Technology HK Mobile Electronics Fair in 2017. This took place in Hong Kong and you could see the phone at their company stand. The phone should be available on sale during November.
