Oukitel C8 now supports 4G, but it’s still cheap
In late September, the Chinese manufacturer of long-playing smartphones Oukitel released its new smartphone – C8. It was a device with a screen of 18: 9 and at a very affordable price – up to $ 100. Yesterday, Oukitel also introduced the C8 4G. As you can see from the name, the device supports LTE, and in addition, the “brains” were updated.
The novelty features the same 5.5-inch HD-display (1280 x 640 pixels) with the same aspect ratio of 18: 9, together with a rapidly aging 16: 9. By the way, new sizes of screens are firmly fixed on the market, so optimization of software developers for a new aspect ratio is a matter of time.
Since the screen is elongated, the width of the device also decreased. Therefore, it is more convenient to hold it in hand than the usual smartphones. At least, so says the manufacturer, because the specific millimeter is not yet disclosed.
The novelty will be delivered in five colors: pink, gold, mint, purple and, of course, blue. In state employees it is always so – buyers are given the maximum space for maneuver in terms of color choice.
By the way, the manufacturer shared the video on his own channel on YouTube, so that the device can already be considered in detail.
The device is based on the MediaTek MT6737 chipset (4 cores, 1.3 GHz frequency), while the predecessor worked on the already outdated MT6580A. The amount of built-in (16 GB) and RAM (2 GB) remained unchanged, however, like the battery – all the same 3,000 mAh. And as the OS is still used the actual Android 7.0. Eight of them have not really got to anyone yet.
Other features of Oukitel C8 4G :
- 5MP front-end
- rear camera at 13 megapixel
- sensors: accelerometer, light and distance sensor, fingerprint scanner on the back side
- support LTE networks (bands: 1, 3, 7, 20)
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
- battery for 3000 mAh with normal charging (5 V and 1 A)
- weight 156 grams
The start of sales of Oukitel C8 4G is scheduled for November 11 (Chinese bachelor day and part-time wild sales). The price tag promises to be democratic – $ 89.99.
