Smartphone Ulefone Power 3: Frameless, stylish and long-playing

Ulefone Power 3 promises to occupy the vacant place of a particularly long-playing smartphone among the numerous Chinese clones of the frameless Samsung and Xiaomi flagships. Like the classic predecessor, this new model will receive a battery with a capacity of 6050 mAh.

The other technical characteristics of the device are still a mystery. Experts suggest the existence of an eight-core mobile processor MediaTek MT6750T with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, graphics ARM Mali-T860 MP2 and decent amount of energy efficiency.

The main advantage of the MT6750T is the support for more than just HD Ready resolutions, which will allow the smartphone to be equipped with a very wide HD + 720 × 1440 pixel matrix (9 to 18 aspect ratio). All these come without costing much, of course.

We assume that the device will receive 4 Gb of RAM and a built-in storage capacity of 64 Gb. Less is already unsustainable after Power 2, and more will lead to an increase in the cost of the final product.

Release date and price

Ulefone Power 3 and other innovations of the company contains an incredible “long-liver” with a battery of 13 000 mAh. It is assumed that they will enter the market before the end of 2017. “The price of the product” should be about 200 US dollars (most probably, the chipset would be MT6750T or similar).

Chances are, the third Power will become a real hit of sales, since the competitors have nothing so far planned. In term of the performance in the network, we can say that the design of the device is “inspired” by the Samsung Galaxy S8, however the design of the rear cover is quite original.

Design

Presumably, the case of Ulefone Power 3 is all-metal. The inserts of antennas are made of plastic like the Apple iPhone 7 but there’s no gap between the back cover and the frame. There are only two mechanical elements – a “rocker” for controlling the volume and a “Power” button.

The dual main camera and fingerprint scanner are executed as a single module, prominently projecting above the surface of the case. At its right side, you can see a powerful dual-tone LED-flash, and on the left, there are holes for sensors.

A slot for SIM-cards (apparently, a hybrid) is located on the right. There is no 3.5mm jack for the headset and headphones, so the latter will need to be connected to the USB Type-C port (located below) via the adapter. In general, Ulefone Power 3 on the render looks nice.
